Field notes: quick and dirty observations along with more in-depth pieces that present photographs and text arranged in a (semi) intelligent order.

The 49ers may be moving to Santa Clara, but let it not be said that the “Outer Mission” does not love its hometown team. Here’s physical evidence of that local pride that I documented during the month of April alone. Oh yeah, and ummmm, “Go 49ers!” (A full confession: I’m really not into football. But don’t despair. I’m an equal opportunist when it comes to taking a disinterest in all professional sports. All is not lost, however. Here at Peregrine Manor, OuterMissionJeff holds down the fort on that one.) And if you want to jazz up your own home, here’s a 49ers paint guide.
